Lactamide MEA

MACKAMIDE^® LME is a humectant that is used in skin and hair care formulations. Unlike glycerin, MACKAMIDE^® LME provides a light conditioning and non-tacky feel to the skin and hair. It is similar to other molecules that comprise the Natural Moisturization Factor (NMF) found in human skin by having the ability to bind water in the stratum corneum.
