MACKAMIDE® AME 100 is an excellent humectant for use in skin and hair care formulations. In lotion formulas, MACKAMIDE® AME 100 imparts similar moisturization effects to the skin compared to glycerin without its characteristic tacky feel. It increases the water holding capacity on the stratum corneum over time for long lasting moisturizing effects.
