MACKAM® BAB
Babassuamidopropyl Betaine
MACKAM® BAB is a mild amphoteric surfactant that is derived from babassu oil that is grown organically in the Amazon basin of Brazil.
It is stable over a wide pH range and it is compatible with anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants. MACKAM® BAB is a good foamer and it both increases and stabilizes the foam generated by anionic surfactants.
Additionally, MACKAM® BAB is an effective viscosity builder when formulated into most personal cleansing products.
