MACKAM® 2C
Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate
Verdant’s MACKAM® 2C is one of the mildest amphoteric surfactants of its class. In personal care formulations such as shampoos, bubble baths, and body cleansers, it has a very good foaming performance, which is not affected by the hardness of water, presence of oils, soap and grease, or changes to pH.
In baby and adult non-irritating shampoos, it leaves a pleasant hair feel, with good wet and dry combing properties, requiring very little additional conditioning agent. It also imparts a pleasant skin feel when used in body care applications like bubble bath and body wash. We highly recommended this ingredient for baby care products because of its incredible mildness.
If you are looking for a low viscosity grade that is even easier to handle, try MACKAM® 2C-75.
